A word on selecting recordable compact discs. CD-R discs
are rather inexpensive and you can buy them in different amounts. You can buy them in a stack which means you get 50
to 100 blank cds without a case or you can buy them in packages of 5 or 10 with the case. Look around a bit, if you
can find a stack of cd's rather cheap and some empty cases that you can purchase cheaply, I'd say go for the stack.
The cases are important to protect your cd so you have to have a case for each of the cds that you burn. It also helps
you to identify the contents of the cds.
The best recordable cd is the CD-RW, which will allow you to rewrite over the cd later
on should you want or need to. Its a bit more expensive but you have the luxery of messing up without being stuck with
whatever is on your cd for the rest of time. The CD-R's are a one time shot - whatever you put on the cd, stays there.
I'm stuck out in the middle of nowhere but what I've seen is the capacity of a CD
is about 700 mb or 80 minutes. There may be bigger capacity CDs for purchase these days but believe me, 700 mb is a
lot of room to fill.
